With Stores in Minocqua and Shebogyan/Kohler, Wisconsin

Collection - Carolyn Elam

The artist behind these pieces is Carolyn Jarrett Elam.  Her love for the placement and the balancing of colors of objects goes back many years. She owned White Way Antique Mall in Nashville for 24 years and then ran an estate sale business for another ten years.  Display was always a major part of her businesses. Her attraction to texture has always drawn her to the touch and juxtaposition of vintage items, especially those from the mid twentieth century.  The assemblage art she is now creating is a miniature version of the world of antiques and collectibles where she spent so many years.  Hopefully, humor and irony find their place in these pieces as well.
